I can't say I like them all, because they could be, and look, so different. How it looks also depends quite on the geometry of the ear. I would say that the results can vary from "not so good looking" to stunning---if it fits the ear and the wearer perfectly.
Said that, the end holes (i.e. at the backside of the ear) often looks swollen or so, this might only a problem with new industrials, as I personally don't know so many people with industrials. Maybe they are less popular around here...
As a friend of piercing I would, if I met two girls on the street where one had an industrial piercing and the other girl didn't, probably be more interested in the one with it
I had to look it up to find out what it was. I've seen a few with this piercing, it does nothing for me. But it doesn't bother me nearly as much as spacers.
